An Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and Policy Practitioner with over seven years of experience. Flora is set to head O’Bang’ Law’s Public Affairs and Policy Intelligence Unit. She specialises in policy analysis, legislative advocacy, project management, and strategic stakeholder engagement, as well as government relations, with extensive expertise in climate change, sustainable agriculture, and inclusive economic policy.
With a cocktail of her legal expertise and policy acumen, Flora uses research to inform evidence-based policymaking, not only influencing national but also regional policies across Eastern and Southern Africa. She has attained this while working with the Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources Policy Analysis Network (FANRPAN), ActionAid International Kenya, amongst other anonymous ones.
Flora is excellent at building and maintaining top-level relationships with donors, government officials, regulators, and development-oriented partners to secure policy and advocacy wins, as well as regulatory lucidity.
