Overview

Allan Mukuki carries a sterling reputation as a distinguished Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a Commissioner for Oaths. Regarded as an influential figure in the legal sphere, Allan is currently pursuing his PhD and holds an LL.M in International Law and the Law of International Organizations from the esteemed University of Groningen in the Netherlands. His legal credentials also include an LL.B (Hons) from the prestigious University of Nairobi School of Law and an Associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Additionally, he is a distinguished scholar of the Hague Academy of International Law, a testament to his significant academic contributions.

In his multifaceted legal career, Allan has held pivotal roles such as Director of International Partnerships, a Doctoral Fellow, and a member of the Management Committee and moot court coordinator at Strathmore Law School. Notably, he served as a Research Fellow for the African Region (Kenya) for the European Research Council Grant Project on interpreting customary international law, and as Acting Director at the Strathmore Institute of Advanced Studies in International Criminal Justice (SIASIC). Allan was also involved as a Legal researcher in the Office of the Solicitor General, Kenya, specifically for the Maritime Delimitation in the Indian Ocean (Somalia v. Kenya) case before the International Court of Justice.

With extensive experience spanning various legal institutes, governmental agencies, and the Kenyan judiciary, Allan has proven his expertise. His breadth of knowledge encompasses Public International Law, The Law of International Organizations, International Humanitarian Law, International and Regional (EAC) Refugee Law, and Legal Policy Development.

Allan’s mastery of policy development on international and national laws is matched only by his keen interest in Legislative Drafting and strategic legal consultancy services.
