  1. Successfully advised Red Dot Distribution Limited concerning Corporation Tax additional assessment of KES 188,100,065, arising from an objection decision, contending that the assessment was issued on a misapprehension of fact, identifying material discrepancies unaddressed by Kenya Revenue Authority, and raising substantive issues relating to goods in transit, intangible purchases (including Microsoft licences), and the application of the Transfer Pricing Policy, while pursuing resolution through Alternative Dispute Resolution.

  2. Successfully advised Cherry Interior Limited in an appeal from the High Court to the Court of Appeal arising from a Kenya Revenue Authority tax demand of KES 58,443,097, demonstrating that the Tax Appeals Tribunal erred in law by failing to consider mandatory statutory provisions governing the assessment.

  3. Successfully advised Easy Tex Limited in a commercial and maritime dispute arising from the failure and refusal by the shipper to release the Original Bill of Lading despite full and final payment of USD 28,477.00, following the consignment’s arrival at the Port of Mombasa and ICD Nairobi, where the civil action challenged the breach of the shipper’s duty to facilitate delivery upon satisfaction of payment conditions and involved multiple defendants including a foreign manufacturer, Kenya Revenue Authority, Kenya Ports Authority, and Maersk Kenya Limited.

  4. Successfully advised Kilimall International Limited and developed jurisprudence in MILIMANI HCCA/E940/2024 – Kilimall International Limited v Mandela Gichini Wanjiru & Esther Wairimu Ngatia, where the central issue was whether the Appellant’s claim constituted an employment dispute within the exclusive jurisdiction of the ELRC or a civil recovery claim properly before the Small Claims Court; the Court upheld the jurisdiction of the Small Claims Court in a claim for recovery of losses arising from alleged employee fraud.

  5. Successfully advising corporate entities such as Speedaf Logistics Kenya Limited and private clients in employment and labour matters by identifying discrepancies in employment practices relating to unfair termination and defending employers in redundancy and union-related disputes, with emphasis on procedural and substantive compliance.
