Real Estate & Property Law

Lending our expertise

We advise one of our clients (a multinational bank) on an array of issues including property law. We recently advised the bank on auctioned property based in Kisumu on what ought to be done for purposes of ensuring that there is clear transition since it was owned by defunct non-governmental organisation and the Non-Governmental Organisation Board has a keen regulatory interest on such an asset.

Further, we manage Kilimall International Limited’s (Kilimall) lease agreements and provide periodic advise and negotiate terms on its behalf on matters touching on its leases within Machakos County, Mombasa County and Nairobi County. Our experience and understanding of Kilimall’s needs has resulted in securing lease agreements that enhance its commercial interests.

We advised a confidential client who sought to purchase ten (10) acres of land for purposes of developing a mixed used property and luxury villas that will be marketed to expatriates and high-end tourists that will be coming to Kenya.

We advised a confidential client on selling a property (certified for UN Expats & Diplomats) worth KES. 105 million that based within the leafy suburbs of Rosslyn, Nairobi, Kenya. The property entails various stakeholders such as the lessor, and our Client being the assignor, and there is a management company as well.

We have advised and negotiated for a Client that was purchasing a property worth KES. 44 million in Tilisi Development. This was a complex transaction as it involved purchasing off-plan, there was a financing option from a financial institution, and factoring terms of the property’s association not to mention the continuous development of the other undeveloped pieces of land.
